Our packaging business produces PET packaging in the form of Preforms, Bottles and Closures at various operational sites. raw materials procurements like PET RESINS of grades S1, N1 & H1, Master batches, Color Pigments, HDPE, All Machines & Maintenance items, Consumables and also Packing Items, Materials handled:- Plastic PET Resin, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics spares(Forged components, Sheet metal components, Wire harnesses, Fasteners, O rings, Washers, Valves, Plastics parts, Hoses, for SACMI & Husky machines, Multi cavity Moulds, Packaging items likes Cages, Carton boxes, LDPE covers, Wooden pallets. Total team handles : 12person(Regular procurement, New product & vendor development, Stores, Warehouse & Dispatches, Key Result Areas Supply chain management/Inventory Management: Based on the requirement of the Customers, Plan to supply the required materials in End to End Solution i.e From RM Procurement till Final product delivery .Preparing material requirement plan as per required. Tracking and maintaining inventory levels in the stores for all items required in the plant. Insisting to make PO as and when inventory levels reach reorder levels. Efficiently managing the inventory levels, for ensuring ready availability of material to meet production and dispatch targets. Sourcing/Procurement: Handling sourcing through identification of cost-effective suppliers for Procurement with an aim of improving quality & reliability. Budgeting funds for procurement and sourcing of materials ensuring optimum utilization of materials & maximum cost savings. Logistics: Supervising logistic operations viz., Sea/Air freights, inland and local transports to factory. Coordinating with Custom House Agents, C & F Agents and other external agencies for ensuring timely clearances and costu0002effective transport solutions. Negotiating with transporters, shippers, etc. to ensure seamless and costu0002effective movement of consignment.
